The Brothers Faversham

Many thanks to everyone who came to recordings of The Brothers Faversham at the BBC Radio Theatre on Regent Street over the last week. It was funny: you laughed, and a social contract was fulfilled.

Digitally stored using state-of-the-art equipment in the newly refurbished theatre, the four part radio show will now be painstakingly transferred to wax cylinders. We'll have some photos to post soon too, as there's nothing better than pictures of the radio on the internet.

The tentative transmission date is sometime in January, but we'll let you know as soon as we have firm details.

It was all-round brilliance of the highest and funniest kind. Congratultions on what will surely be the funniest thing to go out on BBC Radio 7 ever!

Thank you for inviting us to laugh at you making funny! Massive good luck to you in the editing process. How you're going to shave 10 minutes from each show, bod only knows! Just leave those little spoof adverts in, won't you? Oh, and Humphrey being a monkey.

Steve has promised pictures, and fortunately Idil and I were snap-happy at the Wednesday recording: mine are over in my Flickr whatsit, Idil's are currently accessable from our rather jolly Facebook group.

We'd never heard of you before, but enjoy being warm and laughing for free so figured we'd give you a go. You made us laugh a lot. Particularly the 'out takes' and the warming up for chimpy-ness. We can't wait to find out what happens in the first two episodes. And what we missed while we were still laughing at the previous line :)
